Jittery, shaking or vibrating screen Hello all, I have a new XPS 12 9Q33 and apart from the 'normal' issues I have experienced with the Intel Rapid Start I have this other problem. Occasionally the screen starts shaking. It happens in spurts, as in it's not happening now, but once it starts it will continue for a little while and then stop. ...
اقرأ أكثرI never noticed any unusual vibrations. It could be you have a bad batch of discs that are slightly unbalanced. Some vibration is normal, but if the player is 'walking' like an overloaded washing machine- then you have a problem. :P If discs are way out of balance, it could strain the DVD player mechanism or strike the lens or other part.
اقرأ أكثرDVD capable drives have a higher rpm rate then a standard cdrom or cd burning drives. That is why the drive shakes or rattles more then standard drives. You can try removing and reseating the drive to make sure it is not loose. Also, unbalanced cds can make a drive rattle more then normal.

اقرأ أكثرThe projector is sitting on an unstable or vibrating surface. If you are using the device while it is sitting on top of another device or in very close proximity, such as a gaming console or DVD player for example, the projector may pick up vibrations from this device when projecting making the image appear to vibrate.
اقرأ أكثرMy theory is that it is a combination of (a) disc contents (and maybe physical balance), (b) the laser head motion, and (c) the (by design) variable rotation speed of a disc. Somehow the right combination of factors will cause a resonance with the player which causes the loud vibrating noise. It is most common in menus because these are short ...
